Five Valleys Charity Motorcycle Run

The Salisbury Motorcycle and Light Car Club can trace its history all the way back to 1921 when it was formed as the Sarum and District Motorcycle Club. It’s been through a couple of names in the last 100 years but, apart from the years during the Second World War, has always been a thriving club promoting motorcycle sport. In 1982 a classic section was formed, running road runs, displays and social events and, of course, the club runs the Arbuthnot Trial.

On Sunday April 28, 2026, the Salisbury Motorcycle and Light Car Club will be holding its Five Valleys Charity Motorcycle Run which will leave from the Barford Inn, Barford St Martin, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP3 4AB at 11am. It costs £10 to entry and, of that sum, £8 will go to the club’s chosen charity, DocBike. The club has raised thousands of pounds for local charities over the years and here you see them in 2022 after raising £2270 for the Salisbury Hospice.

Find out more about both the Run and the club at www.salisburymotorcycleandlightcarclub.co.uk or by telephoning 07979 271903.
