Experience the Isle of Man TT Atmosphere — Without the Crowds

If you enjoy the TT atmosphere but prefer a calmer pace, the Pre-TT Classics and Southern 100 offer a great alternative to the main event. You still get the sound, speed, and tradition of real road racing — just with fewer crowds and more room to enjoy it.

Outside the main TT period, travel is simpler and more affordable. Ferries and flights are easier to book, accommodation costs are lower, and it’s easier to move around the island. The smaller crowds also mean better access to riders, clearer viewpoints, and more time to take everything in.

Comfortable Glamping Options

Nine Yards Bell Tents are furnished with real, full size beds, winter tog duvets, solar lighting and more. There are plenty of hot showers on site, plus a licensed bar and kitchen serving hot food daily.

Trackside Location

Stay in Castletown for roadside access to the Pre-TT Classics and Southern 100, with a laid-back setting close to the action. Nine Yards Bell Tents are situated right on the Billown Circuit at Castletown FC, on the lead up to Stadium Bend, you’re guaranteed a great view without having to travel for it.

With a more relaxed schedule and fewer people, these events offer a chance to enjoy road racing — and the Isle of Man itself — at an easier pace.

If the Main TT is more your thing, the Douglas site is open from Saturday 23rd May until Sunday 7th June where you can experience the buzz of the grandstand area while still having space to explore between sessions.
