The Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum was delighted to welcome one of Royal Enfield UK’s first organised ride outs – the ‘Spring Starter’. The Event and Community Specialist for Royal Enfield UK, commented: “As part of our 2026 activation programme, we are delivering a series of national ride-outs, with today’s Spring Starter being one of the highlights. In collaboration with the Balmer Lawn Dealership at Brockenhurst, Hatfields of Crowthorne and the Royal Enfield Owners Club, we have organised this ride-out to the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum.”

He remarked that “he was delighted that approximately 250 riders had joined in today, creating a fantastic atmosphere. It’s a superb venue and a great opportunity to bring the riding community together. The Museum provides the perfect setting to celebrate motorcycling heritage while bringing riders together in the present day, making it an ideal destination for events such as this.”
The Museum volunteers had to work hard to ease the pressure on finding parking places for the many other motorcycles who came to enjoy the day as well as many cars, including a number of beautiful classic cars.
Royal Enfield UK places a strong emphasis on cultivating a “pure motorcycling” ethos, centred around community engagement, dealership-led ride-outs and a programme of dedicated events, many of which are delivered in partnership with the Riders Club of Europe.

DocBike, a valued partner of the Museum, joined us for their first outing of 2026 and, as always, were a welcome presence at Sammy’s events. Engaging with visitors throughout the day, the team shared their important road safety message. Their work is invaluable, combining emergency roadside medical response with proactive rider education.
Sammy’s Pit Stop worked tirelessly throughout the day, keeping riders and visitors well served. The additional catering cabin in the Museum Courtyard helping to ease the pressure on the café during this very busy event.
