Alfie Smith is eight years old, has Down’s Syndrome and was diagnosed with leukaemia in February 2020.

Alfie’s dad, Steve, works for Avon Tyres supplying racing tyres to bike and sidecar racers around the world. Avon have supported Steve over the years helping to raise thousands of pounds for the Down’s Syndrome charities.

When Alfie was diagnosed with leukaemia it was time to start Alfie’s All-Stars and support the work of other charities now vital in Alfie’s life. With the help of friends, more than £10,000 has been raised since 2020 for the Down’s Syndrome Association, Young Lives vs Cancer and the Bristol Children’s Hospital. After a rollercoaster 18 months, Alfie is making a good recovery and hopefully will be given the all-clear in April 2022.

Charities are having a tough time still as a result of the pandemic, so the money raised from the sale of the T-shirts will help these good causes.
